By accessing or using Pristil (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.
Pristil is a marketplace platform that connects customers seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals. We are not a cleaning service provider. All cleaning services are performed by independent contractors who are not employees of Pristil.
Pristil charges a platform fee (currently 20% of the booking total) to facilitate the transaction. Contractors receive the remaining 80% minus any applicable Stripe processing fees. All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD.
Customers may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund minus the platform fee. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a 50% charge. Contractors who cancel after accepting a job may be subject to account suspension. Refund requests for completed work are handled on a case-by-case basis.
If you have a dispute with a contractor or customer, you agree to first attempt resolution through Pristil's support system. If the dispute cannot be resolved, you agree to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any claims must be brought within one year.
Pristil is not liable for damages arising from services provided by contractors. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, you remain liable for any outstanding payments or obligations.
